Gateway to Asia with Asian Football Confederation

Gateway to Asia with Asian Football Confederation

2010-07-20

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) is the central body responsible for the management of football in Asia and is one of the six confederations that make up FIFA.

Created in 1954, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Asian Football Confederation has 46 member associations that represent themselves more than half the world population.

The AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011™ will feature 16 of the best teams in Asia, vying for a truly international title from January 7-29, 2011.

In view of the organization of the Asian Cup to be held in Qatar in January 2011, the Asian Football Confederation approached ADEUNIS RF.

To equip its top international referees, the Asian Football Confederation has chosen our referee communication system VOK-REF 05.

Recall that this communication system is popular with the highest sporting authorities and, following its use in the 2010 Football World Cup and the 2006 World Cup, will be in use for the first ever World Cup organised on the African continent. It has already been used successfully in the Champions League and the leading football leagues in Europe (England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France ...) and worldwide (Mexico, South Africa, Africa, Korea ...).

Vokkero designed for disabled people

Vokkero designed for disabled people

2010-06-16

Vokkero is a hands-free all-in-one system that enables disabled people (visual or auditory), to move easily, to follow a conversation in spite of surrounding noises (public places, restaurants, etc.) or to practice a sport in optimum conditions.

This is the case for example of Nicolas Béréjny Gold Medal in Super G at The Paralympics Games in Vancouver who practices a high level sport thanks to our Vokkero system. A workaholic, this athlete, visually impaired, has been training with Sophie Troc's guide. It is his eyes. Connected to her by the wireless audio conference system VOKKERO, he avoids his problems of visibility, including shadows and lights, by extremely precise information that she sends. Thus the audio link allows him to anticipate the highest barriers on all types of tracks, including the most challenging such as Whistler, Canada.

Using Vokkero, from 2 to 6 people can communicate in full duplex mode (instant communication, no need to press a Push-to-talk button).
Encrypted digital transmission ensures maximum protection against intrusion into communications and the private nature of exchanges. Vokkero requires no fixed installation and works on open frequencies, permitting instant use wherever it is deployed.
Very quick set up
, without PC, by simple peering of devices makes its introduction easier, more efective and more sure.
Small, light and robust, Vokkero is equiped with a high performance noise filter that ensures optimum listening quality in any environment, even the most difficult.

Vokkero strong points
• Totally hands-free
• Full duplex system
• Permanent contact
• “Open mic” communication
• Noise filter
• Works in group (up to 6 users over 800m)
• Autonomous system (no base station)
• Light, compact, robust

2010 Football World Cup

2010 Football World Cup

2010-05-19

Our VOK-REF05 will equip the best worldwide soccer referees in South Africa !

It’s difficult to get away from the Football World Cup in South Africa. The whole world has its eyes focused on this planetary event with its massive sporting and financial challenges. The qualified teams are in the starting blocks, ready to do battle. But there’s another group of people who are just as important, who are starting to feel the pressure of the event: the referees. In a situation in which every little action is scrutinised, analysed and commented on, they’re not allowed any mistakes, as their decisions could have disastrous consequences.

The refereeing teams prepare like real professionals. They leave nothing to chance and seek to reduce the risk of errors to the minimum. The team’s concentration, coolness, speed and cohesion are key factors in their success, and these are made possible by a system – THE refereeing system - the VOK-REF 05.

This communication system is popular with the highest sporting authorities and, following its use in the 2006 World Cup, will be in use for the first ever World Cup organised on the African continent. It has already been used successfully in the Champions League and the leading football leagues in Europe (England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France ...) and worldwide (Mexico, South Africa, Africa, Korea ...).

In practical terms, it enables the referee and linesmen to remain in permanent contact and to intervene rapidly together. Communication is totally full duplex. Everyone can talk at the same time without having to press a Push-To-Talk button (PTT) first.

The other advantage of theVOK-REF 05 system is that it contains a very effective noise filter that is particularly suitable for these specific environments. For example, the noise coming from spectators (applause, whistles, shouts, national anthems, etc…) or their instruments (whistles, trumpets, “Vuvuzelas”, etc …) are totally filtered.

Another interesting aspect of the VOK-REF 05 system is that communication is encrypted. This is a key point for referees who want to keep their discussions private and ensure that they are not re-broadcast by the media without their knowledge.

There’s no doubt that this option will be used by the referees selected for the 2010 Football World Cup.

At the age of 42, Nicolas Béréjny, "one of the best team leaders for France" and his guide, Sophie Troc, fulfilled their supporters' expectations and defended successfully the French colors.

This workaholic, visually impaired athlete, has been training since 2003 with his guide Sophie Troc. She is his eyes. Connected to her by the wireless audio conference system VOK-SNOW from the range of ADEUNIS RF’s VOKKERO, he avoids his problems of visibility, including shadows and lights, by extremely precise information that she sends. Thus the audio link allows him to anticipate barriers for the best, on all ll types of tracks, including the most challenging such as Whistler, Canada.

Congratulations to this closely-knit team!
